Center for Talented Youth Rural Connections Scholarship Program

Rural Connections is a new three year CTY initiative funded by the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation to support bright 7th - 9th graders from families living in rural communities nationwide. This initiative is designed to deepen and expand gifted rural students’ access to and participation in CTY’s challenging summer programs, and to reach a group of underserved students that CTY has not specifically targeted in the past. Senior Scholarship Program for students in the greater Chewelah and Valley area registered or accepted to an accredited post-secondary school, college, university or institute with the goal of pursing an education in fire service, public safety, law enforcement, emergency medical or public service field, or a closely related field such as teaching, forest management, wild land management, etc.
